Sleep mode

Iím looking for a small Pentax DSLR with fast start up time and doesnít go into sleep mode as quickly as my KP.

Hi Dave, welcome from Australia. The AUTO-POWER OFF setting has a default time from the factory of 1 minute. It can be changed using the MENU settings.
For the KP, the info is in the screenshot of the manual of page 33 below. Good luck.

You do know you can change that setting to up to 30 minutes.
