Shwmae! Alright!

Hi there, from wet and windy Wales (that's next to England). Current owner of a K-S2 which I've had for a while but largely neglected. Only two lenses to my name, 18-50mm WR and 18-135mm WR (I know, I don't need the former), and looking to expand my use of the camera, procure more lenses, etc. etc.

I'm sure I'll be made to feel very welcome very quickly!

Diolch - thanks!

Welcome! The 18-135 is a good all-around lens, you just need to get out and use it!

Hiyup mi’duck from the middle of England - try not to hold it against me please 😊.
I’m a prime fan and I find the DA 50 and 35 great for portrait work on my K3, damn good value too.
Cheers.

Welcome! Wales you said? I have to share this joke

Why aye mun! Don't worry, we're all friends here (even during the 6 Nations )! Interestingly, I bought a DA 50mm F/1.8 for £50 delivered, second hand, from lcegroup's website! Hopefully will arrive tomorrow!

Nicely done! I'm sure a Donald Trump tweet stirred outrage in these parts by referring to 'Whales'!

I've certainly heard that one before, but it never fails to make me smirk.

Thanks all for the warm welcome! I'm not accustomed to warm weather so I'm feeling toasty as a result.

Another cracking welcome, so thanks for this! Funnily I could work out your sentiment above.

I’ll be taking it out more and more, I’m sure!

Welcome

I did know where Wales is

and you have found a place with friendly helpful folks with opinions to offer

[ especially on how to spend your money, watch out for LBA ( lens buying addiction ) or GAS ( gear acquisition syndrome ) ]

so if looking for answers or advice, it can be provided
