Hi all,

Just joined. Coming back to Pentax. Spent most of my time with an ME-Super and LX. As you can see, I'm a film guy. Have a Nikon Digital 7200 but will be looking to pick up a Pentax digital as well. Still develop my B&W film, scan using Epson V600 now. Using the Nikon I seem to get lost in the settings and don't focus as much on the frame. Usually after a few trips I pull out the film again. It slows me down.

Looking forward to talking to everyone. I'm on the northeast coast of US. If anyone knows a good place to repair my LX that would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, Dave, and welcome back to Pentax

There are plenty of folks here still shooting film, and even more who'll be happy to help you decide on a digital body

A nice, lightly-used K-3 or K-3II would be an obvious choice, giving similar performance to your D7200. Alternatively, a newer KP would give even better image quality at higher ISO settings, and is more compact like your favourite Pentax film bodies. Anyway, you have choices

LX is a great little camera and I'm sure you'll find a way to get it repaired.
