New member, old guy

I have been a Pentax owner since the 70's and have enjoyed many models from the ME to the K-50. The K-50 is going to the granddaughter and I will go back to my K-5. Of course there is a mixed bag of lenses accumulated over time.

Although a long time user I still have plenty to learn and look forward to reading the knowledgeable articles on this site. Another goal is to upgrade lenses and move to a newer body as things progress.

Thanks for providing such a good place to learn about all things Pentax.

Welcome! Your story sounds familiar to many of us; I think the ME Super was my first K-mount camera, and I've returned to a K-5 after many frivolous adventures

I did similar, yet the opposite way: first bought K-50, and 3 years later the ME Super. Now I use them both

Same here on both counts. I have learned a great deal from the articles, threads, and gear reviews here on PF. Photography is a lifetime learning adventure, and the folks here make it a lot of fun.
