Hi, I just joined this group today. I recently purchased a very nice, lightly used (2481 shutter count) Pentax Kr with two lenses from a local business specializing in entertainment equipment, books, CD's, DVD's and magazines. I frequent this business often and always check to see what's come in their photo section.

This camera came with the Pentax18-55mm lens and the 50-200mm lens. The camera is RED! and appears to have hardly been used. So, I've downloaded the Pentax Kr Operating Manual and now am getting familiar with all of the various settings available on the camera. I'm an experienced photographer, primarily using Nikon cameras which I started years ago with a Nikon F. I've always admire the Pentax cameras, so it will be a pleasure to get more familiar with my Kr.

Congratulations on your find and welcome to the Forums. I spent just over a year in Tucson (at UofA - go WIldcats!) half a lifetime ago. Some great memories of the place.

Tucson is an awesome city. Every time I visit, I camp midway up Mount Lemmon at Rose Canyon campground. Saguaro Nat'l Park, Mission San Xavier del Bac, Mount Lemmon, Kitt Peak Observatory, the airplane graveyard, Patagonia Lake State Park, there are plenty of things to see and do around the city.
