hi everyone, im alex

my new ricoh gr3 have some issue ,when I press to focus, the screen become dim and yellow awhile in moment, is it all or your gr3 also same have this issue? is it normal?
i have share to youtube, heres the link

hope everyone can help me, if really got issue i will return it, cos i just purphase it today, thanks alot

could it be the aperture stopping down prior to exposure? just a guess, I don't have a GRIII

Do the pictures come out fine (focused, correctly exposed)? That sounds like the camera is stopping down and adjusting the display on the fly. Maybe even a white balance thing.

no, I already full reset, but still same

Can you post a picture of the end result? What you're showing is not necessarily a problem. Has this started recently or did it always happen since you got the camera?

Welcome to the forums Alex! I don't have the GR III (yet), but I saw a video on you tube about focusing in low light and it looks what is in the video. The video was shot before the firmware upgrade improving the GR III's low light abilities. here's a link below:

thanks for the info, I just try at outdoor just now, is norma, only indoor will happen this, will walk in to try with their demo set today, hope is normal, I really lazy keep handle problem

just notice that, when using at outdoor no this issue, and the photos all sharp no issue, just worry the screen got problem not the sensor!
