As blues_hawk said, I hope you can fix the K-50, or use it with legacy lenses that don't need aperture actuation, or pass it on to someone who wants to use or fix it. It's still a great and usable camera without the aperture mechanism working, but for more specialist applications. ��

How did that sneak past me. Not only another Pentaxian in Lancaster, but another KP user to boot! I live just past the station

I am also a member of Lancaster Photographic society where you would be most welcome. Amongst the 60 or so members we have a K3 & KP (me) another K3, a K1, a K70 and a KR. We are forming a cluster lol. Back to PF, Have a look at the single in and daily in challenges. The guys who participate are a) brilliant photographers, b) have a vast range of kit and c) will help you develop more than you could imagine. As I said, I have a KP, a K3, quite a few limited primes and various zooms and a big box of vintage glass. I look forward to saying hello
