been a pentaxian the moment i had money to buy a dslr (not so long ago lol)
went for a Kx, then quickly upgraded to a Kr , then made the jump tp a K5 and then added a KP last year in japan for almost nothing (brand new 500$)

now i mostly use the KP, one think i miss is the fps , that is why if i can i keep the k5 close

You might want to consider the new APSC flagship camera , which is a prize in the December/January part of the centenary contest on this forum , so presumably it will be available around that time .

Otherwise , if high picture quality and FPS are important to you , also consider the K-3/K-3ii . No doubt , once the new model comes out there will either be discounts on unsold K-3ii cameras , or used ones being sold by people upgrading to the new model .
