Started with a Spotmatic and a couple of primes and extender tubes, all inherited. Then my camera bag was stolen in a house break-in, resulting in a multi-year photo layoff, about 15 years! But got the bug back, and bought a ds2 when I spotted a local retailer offering a good discount.

I guess I'm a bit weird: I like motion blur, light painting, colour field and collages. I don't much like snapshots and otherwise perfectly exposed captures, which unfortunately seems to be about 99% of photography.

Hey Donald, welcome to PentaxForums. Wow, a growing number of Torontonians haha. Did you get by alright? The weather's been pretty bad on the traffic the last few days.

I'd definitely say you are in the minority. I actually love the colors in your picture, and while the majority of my brain says "I wish something was in focus" there is a little part of me that really likes the picture. I've been looking at it for quite awhile, and I can't say I spend that amount of time on most pictures.

I'm interested in seeing more of your pictures.

Self employed, work from home so the bad weather didn't affect me.

Thanks. It was actually a field of weeds at 401-Renforth.

I predict a GTA meeting sometime in the future.

I'm surprised how many GTA (for those who don't know, Greater Toronto Area) people are in this forum, not to mention those who are in South Western Ontario! It's really quite good that we can get a meet going!
