I've just retired after 45 years of photographic retouching for artist's and ad agencies and now's the time to capture more images on my own.
Just bought a Pentax K-3 II and am looking forward to using it and learning as much as I can from the forum. Thanks!

Before the revolution of computers and digital cameras imagine retouching on your prints and transparencies with bleaches, dyes and airbrushes. Some large dye transfers would take over a week to accomplish what can be done now with Photoshop in a few hours. I would never go back to the Analog Age....
