Pentax User for over 40 years; Just found this forum

Well...! I certainly am surprised by all the welcome notes from all over the world!
Thanks much for your kindnesses.
I am looking forward to posting some images. But I first need to learn good things about what I'm finding to be called "post processing". I'm shooting in RAW and then transferring to computer (Apple) where I need to learn a lot of techniques I didn't know about in the past. I knew, from B&W, about paper selection, dodging, burning, and spotting. The color film printing was something done in the lab to correct all the exposure mistakes made by the photographer. And chrome processing was something done in-camera by the photographer; shoot it correctly, or throw it away. Now I have to learn a huge sidebar of controls that I never imagined existed.

When I get all this mastered enough to submit a decent image, I'll post it and ask for reviews and critiques.
