Hi Neil, and welcome to Pentax Forums. It is indeed a lovely part of the world you live in (speaking as a cool-temperate climate dweller, myself).

Nice that you’re shooting both film and digital – my many film Pentaxes don’t get much attention, these days.
Hi Rob
yeah, I'm not sure how much use the film camera will get. I dug it out as I wanted to use the lens on my Kx but also to try and teach my daughter how to take 'proper' pictures.
slightly shocked at how much 35mm film costs and have got hooked on the instant gratification of digital. However film does make you work a bit harder and think things through a bit. Got to be a good thing really!

So was I (having restarted recently), however it’s worth asking around and looking out for expired stuff. Too expired and it fetches a hipster premium though. I’ve found some late 2017 Fujicolor locally which is processing fine and only about £3.

ironically I had a roll of Pan F that expired in 2011 thatís pre paid, so using that, although 50ASA is a bit limiting around here at this time of year.
I once used and self-developed a roll of HP4(!) that expired in 1971 when I was at school in the late 80ís. It wasnít brilliant but there were still ok images, just looked like everything had been dipped in custard.
Bet the hipsters would have loved a bit of that in their Zenit!

Lovely. I went to Les Landes years ago and loved it and the Ile díOleron unite recently and that was fantastic too.
Beautiful places and great wine!
