Hi, I am Peter Hollings,

I am in the process (now semi-retired) of resuming a photography hobby I had 50 years ago. I had a style back then of high resolution, high dynamic range (by film standards) photography. I worked with a high acutance microfilm and a very gentle development process. My digital ambitions are the same, but that might change as I see results.

I have a Pentax K 1 and, of course my old Asahi Pentax with 50 mm f1.8 lens. (Somewhere along my 50 year passage the wide angle and telephoto got lost!)

I'm in Charlotte not that far from you. I don't shoot a k1, preferring my crop k3 due to weight but I have quite a number of lenses that are full frame capable. If you are interested contact me and we can arrange to meet if you want to try some lenses on the k-1. I know how hard finding Pentax hardware in person can be.
