Hello, I'm Brian from northern Alberta Canada. I bought a KS2 with airmiles back in 2017. I started buying lenses on ebay, inadvertently bought a Tamron 28-200 for a Nikon, found a low mile D7000 for 400 bucks and started shooting both. I kept buying Pentax kit from ads, since you can and use them on your new camera. I now have at least 50 or 60 lenses, aftermarket etc. I even bought the 560mm tele new last summer in Calgary. I got the bug good for a while, I have 2 KX's, a K5, the KS2 and a K70,(also bought one for my son), and I cant wait to buy 2 of the new flagships.

The shots below are my sons University Grad in 2018. The first was taken by the Nikon D7000 with a Tamron 28-300, was close to the 28mm level. The second was with the KS2 using a Sigma 400mm tele. Both were handheld, the only adjustment was I forced the flash to fire. Newbie or what to resort to the old 1960's method of increasing exposure lol. However I am pleased with these and the subsequent shots of the grads, especially as this is the first photo with this new kit that I really cared about. Bought the sigma tele off an ad for 200 so I'm happy.

Thank you for the kind welcoming everyone. Sure is nice to see the hobby has so many participants, pros and all. I have met so many people since I got going with this and the community is larger every time.
I picked up the 40mm pancake lens today, shots look really nice so far, can't wait to get some time with it. Cant wait to get out with any of my kit. We have winter right now and I have missed some really cool first light shots of frost. I'll post some as I get them.
