Lol, getting stuck 4 miles in the back country with that 500mm on my K1. My poor hubby had to Sherpa it out. I’m not in shape and gave out after 2 miles. Thankfully someone ran ahead and brought back another vehicle after the one we were in wouldn’t start. My new 150-450 may only be a pound less but I’ll take it...

Lucky you with the K-1, I'm thinking of trying out the K10D for some fun, maybe make it into a dedicated M42 camera
