Welcome from the Hudson Valley, NY! I need to get there on a nice cold day, Niagara Falls, and get some nice ice!
The Falls are spectacular in really cold, snowy weather. I posted several more shots that I'm quite proud of from that same day in my personal album over here.

Let's see if I can figure out how to do the link: Robysue's Frozen Niagara Falls Pentax Forum album

Welcome from a fellow Buffalonian, displaced to Oklahoma. Pentax weather sealing really pays off on the Maid of the Mist!

I meant to add one of my favorite photos of Niagara Falls. I took it back in Feb. 2015 when we had some super cold weather that lasted long enough for the falls to "freeze" over. It made the national news. Hubby and I went up a few days later after the falls started to thaw out a bit. This is my favorite shot from that day.
Great image!
You are better than you think!
Keep shooting!

That is a stunning photo of the frozen falls!

Welcome to the forum. I have a similar story. I bought a Ricoh KR-5 in 1980 or 1981 (wish I still had it). My wife bought me an Olympus Camedia C-700 for Christmas in 2001. We went to Tuscany that spring and my son was born in the fall, so the camera got quite a lot of use. In 2008 I was ready to upgrade and bought my K200D at a duty-free shop at Incheon airport in Seoul. Upgraded to a K5 in 2012 and a K-1 Mark II in 2018.

This forum is a fantastic place to learn about photography, cameras and lenses and to just share photos and experiences with people around the globe. It's probably largely responsible for getting me hooked on photography and Pentax.

Welcome from western Canada! It's cool that you started with Polaroid... such a cool concept and innovation for the times and who would have thought it'd be back!
