Harry Moto; new to these forums
Howdy howdy! New to these forums, have a strange problem? or not with my new 15-30 f2.8 zoom on my K1. Will post in appropriate forum after a thorough search... but presently I can't type in the 'search' box. Sigh... new guy limitation?

First Pentax was an MX in black, had an SMCP 50 f1.7, 24 f2.8??, and the legendary 35-70 f2.8. Later i used Vivitar zooms, 28-200, Motocross/Desert Race use, hard on equipment. Next was an ist-D with the kit lens and a lot of use of my old glass. Now I've retired, went to the K1 and keeping mostly with Pentax lens.

Other hobbies include shooting (firearms), dirt bikes, 4-wheeling. See y'all around the forums! 8^)

Thanks, guys. Kerrowdown, love your avatar. The claidheamh-mòr was legendary enough that they named the ferocious M18 apers mine after it. Love 'em both!! 8^)

You guys are on here a LOT! Wow! That's why I love the internet; good forums will get you great information from the knowledgeable members. I hope to contribute something useful at some point! For now I'm all ears, except for the occasional call out for help.

Hi, Harry. Welcome to the Forums from Australia. My first Pentax was an MX with 50/1.7 too. I still have it. You will find a lot to share with many people here. I use four-wheelers and things that go "bang" in my day-to-day work (but I keep those things for other forums).
