Hi from Australia

Hi I am from Northern Victoria and have been a Ricoh/Pentax user for many years. I currently use a K200D with a Sigma 70-300 4-5.6 and a Sigma 18-55 3.5-5.6. The 70-300 is my workhorse, when I get time to take photos .
I am hoping to upgrade in 2020 and am undecided between the K-70 and the KP and would appreciate any advice. My interests are farm life ( live on a farm), horses ( I show them) and landscapes/sky/clouds/sunset/sunrise.
Thanks in advance

Welcome from Greece! I think the K-70 can easily be your next workhorse! It is a very capable camera that you'll enjoy. Great images btw!

Welcome from Adelaide. Can’t comment on the K-70 vs the KP question as my APS-C cameras have been the K-x and the K-3. I would probably lean towards whichever has lower image noise.

Hi from further up north (in Queensland). That cloud shot is great. A bit of smoke in it (all too common at the moment). It is typical of the build up you can get over the Alps although you don't often get such an unobstructed view.

Welcome to the forums from Geelong, Australia.
I have been using a K-70 for almost 12 months now and am in love with it.
I had a similar debate with myself and decided to not go with the KP as I wanted the flip out screen when shooting mushrooms etc low to the ground.
I don't regret my decision.
I used this website and This website to make my choice.
Whatever camera you choose, I am sure you will be happy with the decision.
I look forward to seeing some more photos from you posted here.

Welcome, love the cloud pic. Check out the DSLR subforum, there are a few threads on the KP vs K70 debate.
