Hi, I'm Alan in NH I have used Pentax camers and other brands for 45 years. I'am currently looking to buy a Pentax camera in 2020 but I'am waiting awhile to see if some updated cameras become avaible.

There is a new camera on the horizon, but nothing has been definitively announce as for its release yet. You can check this thread for more info...

New flagship APS-C may be delayed to release after summer - PentaxForums.com

However, remember, as soon as you get whatever you do, a new one is announced within 3 to 6 months (Murphy's Law).

Welcome to the forum. The new Pentax camera is supposedly just around the corner. Though we're not sure which corner just yet.

Hi Alan. Another welcome from Australia. A new APS-C body is expected some time this year. Nothing more than that is known but Ricoh/Pentax have hinted that it will be something special.

I think everyone is keenly waiting to see what the new APS-C flagship is going to be like next year. Not sure if there will be a fullframe coming out anytime soon but then the K-1 / K-1 II are still great cameras.
