Hi I'm Lucy

I used to be a Canonite but whilst scrolling through some things on a shopping site, saw a gorgeous, blue camera... so I did an image search to find out what it was... it was my first Pentax, a satin sapphire blue K-30. I had thought I'd keep my Canon but after seeing the significant difference in clarity and brilliance of colour on the Pentax, well... the Canon was sold and literally everything Canon I owned.

A couple months later, my husband was reading on a website for film aficionados, which he is lol (we have a collection of old film cameras but his camera of choice is his Nikon F80 or the F801), and he saw a photo of a Pentax camera that I also saw and we both knew we had to have it (there is a connection to my father with that one). So, we searched eBay and found one. That is Pentax H3 35mm film camera from roughly 1950s.

A couple months later I saw a Pentax K-S 1 on eBay with a shutter count of 3 so we bought it. Now, I am hoping to get the K-3 ii. I have a (shhh Nikon D3300) I will give my husband when I get the K-3 ii lol. My lust for Pentax cameras FAR supersedes my bank account LOL... unfortunately, bills, home, food... they seem to take too much so if you know a way around those do let me know LOL!

My husband loves 35mm film (he develops his own film in fact!) and has tested the old Pentax and the old glass Pentax made was literally amazing... if we could afford a Pentax 6x7 we would have one of those too LOL!

We are happily married and live in the UK.

I must say I really enjoyed reading your introduction, and I have to admit my lust for Pentax gear FAR supersedes my bank account also (but we do what we can).
