I am a new Pentax K50 owner it came with 18-55 lens & 50-200 lens in order to gain a bit more distance I bought this lens Sirius 60-300 that is listed as promaster in the 3rd. Party lens reviews it says it has a kp hybrid fitment. I asked a fellow member if I needed an adaptor he thought not Anyway can some kind soul point me in the right direction how to attach this to my lovely Pentax K 50. Thanks in advance. DAVE.

I don't have the lens. Is it one of these?

Reading this it is a kr(?) Mount. Which I think is the ka mount with the Ricoh pin. I think you need to remove the pin or the lens gets stuck on the camera. Once again I have never actually had the Ricoh mount.

I do have a couple Promaster lenses in that focal length. 70-300 and 100-300. In my experience the dal 50-200 is better cropped to the desired reach than either of the Pentax. I am not anti Promaster I have a 28-70 that I really like

I don't know if a mod can move it. I assume cross posting is frowned upon
