Hello fellow Pentaxians, it is a honor for me to feel part of this big family. I finally bought, in December, my first Pentax - a K-70 - and I'm really happy with it. I want to thank this blog because what I read here before actually buying my camera mattered a lot for my final choice. Here I found many interesting and important informations and when I had the chance to do it, I bought this little companion. The compatibility with film era lenses (without using adapters) and most of all the SR system were the real game changers when it came to choose it and right after the purchase I stayed days on ebay looking for some film era lenses, in order to expand my possibilities in shooting pictures. the reviews section has been really helpful since and I would like, as soon as I can get, to review the four lenses I bought (Auto Chinon 50mm f1.7, Pentax A 40-80mm f2.8-4, Pentax 135mm f3.5 and Mitakon 80-200 f4, not considering the kit lens I received with the camera, the 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 one). After three months of use and something like 8000+ photos taken, I can surely say that this is a great camera and having the possibility to shoot in so many ways, thanks to the lenses I bought, without spending thousands of dollars (just around €100), is great too. I'm really thinking about getting serious with photography and I hope to learn here as much as I can thanks to you, my dear Pentaxians.
