I have been a Pentax owner since buying a new Spotmatic F many years ago - I still have it.

I also have a Program A

I regret to say that so far my digital cameras have nor been Pentax. I currently have have a Casio Exilim Pro and Olympus SP550. Considering moving up to DSLR my favourite at present is K20D so I have joined this forum to check out my assumptions.

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat, still using my other cameras but looking real hard at that K20D.

Welcome aboard!

I owned a Canon before joining the digital "age" and I have been very happy with Pentax (nowadays K20D). Other brands make excellent cameras too, but what I have learned, which is much more important, is the quality and performance of the lenses for Pentax (and in Pentax you can use all the "old" lenses too, which are sometimes better than the new ones IMHO).
