Hello and thank you
Happy to be here. I’m retired. Decided to put down my smart phone and pick up a real camera again. Have a couple of K bodies with 50 mm lenses and want to learn about quality vintage glass. Ended up here because I bought a used Cannon 6D and the Cannon users love old Pentax glass. Bought the recommended takumar medium format 75mm and an m42/EF converter. It hasn’t arrived. That made me pull my bag off the very top Closet shelf wondering How the 50 mm would work on the Cannon. Took the old k out. Pulled the wind lever and looked out the window. Haven’t exposed film in it since 2002. The light meter kicked in and the shutter clicked. Battery must be over 20 years old. That made me order some Fuji 200 and a new battery. Dang looking at that takumar 75 mm on the great flea market in the sky made me start jonesing for the 645 medium format for under 200 2020 dollars that I lusted for and never bought for 1000 1980 dollars. Asked my search engine to review the 135 mm 3.5 and it brought me here. HELP!,,
