Hello fellow pentaxians

Hello guys, I just registered on this forum to get some help with choosing a new camera. At the beginning, I had K200D, then K30 and now I am looking for some upgrade. Nice to meet you all forumly-in-person. I have followed the posts of this forum for quite some time now, but didn't have chance to register until today. Wish you all a great day

Hi Audrius and welcome among us Pentaxians,

What Pentax? Depends on your needs. You can choose asp-c, or wait for the new Penta... X,
but if you want the ultimate in portability and quality, K1 is the right choice, consider new or used, of course.

Good luck. Mario

Thank you people for taking time to give me a warm welcome and for your quick answers. I didn't want to disturb the "welcome" section with my questions, so I created a new thread for that: Need some help with my options of camera and lenses - PentaxForums.com . Thank you for your suggestions though, I would go for K-1, but unfortunately, it's still a bit too pricey for me at the moment

Welcome!

The logical step from the K-30 is the K-70 - basically the same line of cameras. The more high end models would be the KP (which isn't priced very badly at all these days) and the K-3II which was the last flagship camera. The newer flagship camera *might* come out before Christmas.

Having said that, the K200D and the K-30 are still great cameras capable of taking great pictures! Keep shooting!

I'm Lithuanian, though spent a great year in Greece for my studies. Anyways, καλημέρα, mixalis_kalymnos1611, και ευχαριστώ!

Greetings Fellow Pentaxians!

Hi I am B. I am the owner of a K5. I have dabbled in photography for decades. I am hoping to get more into it. I like this site. It is a great resource.

I believe you meant to create a new thread instead of responding to the existing one, but greetings and welcome anyways! Wish you many great pictures.
