Been enjoying use of recently acquired K5. Using an old Tamron 70 210mm F 3dot5 to 4 CF Tele Macro Super Zoom lens I bought new in the 70's and had some success with it on a K1000. It is a manual lens. I tried it for macro use and found that I had to stop down to max and use flash to supplement light. Then I realised "Catch In Focus" Wow! that makes life so much easier. Anyway I have read articles on this forum numerous times for quite a while and thought I'd join. I took the photo yesterday and these little spiders seem to like chasing their prey after a rain. I tried an orange gell (cto) over the flash too. Wasn't real happy with result
I started with a ist DS and then bought a K-x. Both pretty good cameras in their own right in my opinion. Often you just need those many more megapixels.
