I would say that shooting images of your own sculptures is a fitting extension of your artistic ability...
I'm so happy with the sensitivity range of my K-1 it make shooting in near darkness nearly effortless... Add creative lighting and WOW!!!

Like the commercial for a suit company we have here in the states says... "You're going to like the way you look!"

I use the K-1, K-1 Mk.II and the 645D, am a wildlife shooter and do some table-top studio stuff, and am a competent post processer.

Welcome, sphet and Merx. You have some good equipment there and will surely get the advice you're hoping for.

I do think the new camera will be fantastic for Pentaxians, so it should be a nice upgrade for you, Merx.
