Greetings!
Hi everyone! I have been an entry level Pentax dSLR user since 2010 when I bought a K-x, then replaced it with a K-50 in 2016. However, mostly I've only been taking photos during family holidays, so have not had a lot of opportunities to practice using my camera to its fullest potential. Recently, that has changed because I decided to start a vlog where I post sewing and analytics tutorial videos. Since the K-50 is what I already have, it made sense to use it because otherwise I'd have to spend a few hundred dollars replacing a perfectly good camera.
The vlogging venture has forced me to learn more about lighting, using aperture priority, prefocusing, and eventually manual focus. I hope that I will emerge from this as a more educated user of my equipment!
