Welcome! The 645z is amazing with all those details captured. I lost my monument valley raws and had to download jobs from my website and I was still able to make a 17x5ft print panorama with great detail. There’s affordable lenses to get. I actually have 2 if you’re interested. But definitely look up the lens reviews for the 35mm 645, 45-85mm, and 55 f2.8. There’s long lenses that are great also, 200mm is sharp, 300mm* sharper, and the 6x7 120mm f 2.4 with adapter is awesome for portraits

Hello.
I have recently bought the Pentax 645Z and have not used Pentax since using the ME in my film days.
Previously used a Nikon D800e.
I'm looking forward to using the camera and maybe picking a few brains on here
Wow, you really jumped in at the premium end. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for that. I already have the 45-85 and An older 159mm f3.5 .
The 6x7 120mm and adapter sounds interesting as I do a lot of portraits, thanks 🙏

Sorry I mistyped 6x7 105mm 2.4 was the lens. Glad to help. The 45-85 is heavy but crazy sharp right? I feel like its great for that depth in portraits where MF shines.

I haven’t had chance to do any portraits with it yet due to lockdown in England but I sure hope it’s good as that’s what I got it for together with landscape work 👍
