G'day:D

Hey folks,

Well I have joined the Pentax club and purchased my first DSLR (K20D) with a 17-70 2.8 Sigma lens.

Interested in portrait, Land/Seascape, and macro photography for now.

I'm a picture framer living on the northern beaches of Sydney and I'm sick of looking at other people's work when I can be enjoying my own.But seeing a lot of other people's work will only add to my creativeness.I have had a Fuji point and shoot for a while but now it's time to step up.

So I m sure I will have some questions for u experienced one's, to guide me on my quest, so I'll enjoy getting to kno u regulars.

Simon

There are quite a few Aussies here, so there is plenty of local knowledge to fall back on as well as overseas help. Truely friendly!

Welcome!

Welcome mate.

The K20D and Sigma 17-70mm is a nice, versatile combo. Have fun!

Welcome to the forums Simon.

Good to know there's a framer within the Sydney metro area on the forum.
Your starter setup is an excellent one to begin with ... the Sigma 17-70 is a top lens indeed.

Cheers
