Bought my first Pentax MX when I was 14...

Hello forum members! Feeling nostalgic, getting back into film photography after many years. Scored a mint ME Super recently and on my first roll of B&W. As the title says, my first love was an MX. Did odd jobs for weeks as a kid to save up for my dream camera. That set lasted years and went to hell and back with me. Regretfully I sold it to get into digital way back a few years. But the fond memories live on. Thanks for this forum, has already been a great source of info for me!

Welcome! Interestingly I just bought an MX a few moths ago and had it professionally overhauled. Did a little color and I'm now on my first roll of B&W film.

Welcome! I've a roll of Lomo400 sitting on the desk that I just shot with my MX with motor winder. I've a number of film cameras that I use, but the MX remains my favorite. That Viewfinder!!!

I bought my second very recently and they're both being professionally serviced as we speak!
The outlay should be worth the result, for sure. Looking forward to firing through some rolls!

Welcome to the forum. For what its worth, I've got an MX and a ME Super and its the ME Super that gets used the most. The aperture priority mode suits my style of photography. I look forward to seeing some of your shots on the Pentax film SLR forum.
