Wow! I wouldn't expect so nice welcome, and so many replies. I am really really grateful.

You asked me about repairs. Of course, I can help and maybe advise something, sometimes, but please remember, that I stopped to work about 2001 - 2003, so that was the moment, when digital cameras began slowly to kick film cameras out of marketplace. My knowledge and my experience also stopped at this stage. Digital technology is completely different and mostly, very hard (or even impossible) to fix for someone "small", like me. However, I still remember something about old good mechanical beasts, so I can try to help if it's necessary.

Welcome to the club. The 645 is a lovely camera, those two lenses are very good too. I'm sure the K-1 is also, but I haven't had the good fortune to try one.

Hello!

My name is Gregory, I am Polish an I am stay in Scotland, near Glasgow. I'm living here with my family for 15 years, so that's long enough to stay for ever.
I used to work as a photographer but it was many years ago, that I don't remember it. Also I used to repair some film cameras, therefore my nickname is Mechanic.
I hope you know that this is a dangerous thing to tell people on a forum like this. Before you know it, someone will rope you into repairing their lagging cloth shutter.

Welcome to the forum!
