Love in Vintage Lenses

Hello,

I came across vintage lenses on only YouTube few months ago and was lucky to have brought few Takumar lenses I last couple of months. I have the 50mm F1.4 (7 element version), 50mm F4 Macro, 135mm F3.5, 35mm F3.5 and 200mm F3.5. I am in love with how they perform and they are joy to shoot even if they are manual. Does any of the forum members recommend any other top performing Takumar lenses that I should collect? I don't think I will every buy an automatic lens again.

Also, I am so inspired by vintage lenses that I started a YouTube channel 4 weeks, also. I have never done editing before so they can best called as 'charming'.

I recommend that you go to the " lenses " section above and look at the " owners' reviews ' you find when you click on the name of a lens:

Good luck with your new channel! I just had a peep. I use various SMC legacy lenses on my K-70, my two favourites being the 50mm f/1.7 and the 100mm M Macro f/4.

You'll find plenty of love for vintage lenses and Takumars here! If you like YouTube stuff, check out Simon's Utak, he has some nice videos and reviews. The 200mm f/3.5 is a particular favourite.

For my part, I'd also recommend the 35mm f/3.5 as a very cheap option. It's not fast or fancy but it's tiny, very sharp and has great rendering. I prefer the 55mm lenses over the 50mm but each has many fans. Have a look at the lens review section if you're looking for ideas and have a little money to spend, or the Takumar club for some inspiration.

yes, I follow Simon Utak and I am lucky to have found both 200mm F3.5 and 35mm F3.5 in good shape, I think they both are too good! I never thought of 55mm, let me do some research. Thank you for the inputs...
