Greetings from K120

First time chat on this great forum.
Being an older learner I am enjoying the old school cameras and film, but I also have a K1 and am aiming towards night sky and light painting ATM
Looking for a wide lens that will capture my dream shot. Any ideas ?
Cheers Norm

Depends on your budget. I love the Pentax 11-18mm star series lens, but that´s a bit high at the moment. The Samyang/Rokinon 10mm f/2.8 looks great, but note these are APS-C lenses. I think the Irix Blackstone/Dragonfly 11mm f/4 is FF, but I´m not absolutely sure of that. You´ll have to check it. But there are plenty of FF Pentax lenses out there like the 31mm f1.8 that might do as well.

Welcome from South Africa. The "Lens Review database" can be of great help in your quest.
Best.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm sure you will find a lot of people who shoot night skies with the K-1 who will be able to give you some suggestions. This is a very helpful place with wonderful people, as you will soon find out, if you haven't already
