Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum but I've been using Pentax DSLR's since 2012, first with a Kr, now a KP. Before that I was using my father's K10 (I think).
I'm only a hobby photographer and shoot a lot of landscape, nature and "macro" photography

Welcome to the Forums. The KP is quite a step up from the K-r and is quite capable for your "hobby" photography interests.

Thanks everyone
Actually, I got the KP 2 years ago, it was a big step up from the Kr. Except maybe the ergonomics, after 2 years I find that a real handle is better. Even the bigger one on the KP is a little bit small with small hands !
I couldn't use a camera without IBIS, weather sealing and at least 2 control dials anymore
