Growing the Pentax community

The marketing of Ricoh has gotten better lately but still leaves a bit to be desired. So I decided to take things into my own hands to grow the user base.

Today I received a K-x together with the DA 35/2.4 and DA 50/1.8 plus SD card and a set of Eneloops for an absolute steal of a price.
So welcome my seven year old daughter to the brand. She loves her new camera. And I love seeing her use it.

Awesome, but right now, tell her to get that left hand under the lens and arms against the body. Learn the good habits early!

Mine was the K200D which I loved but unfortunately I had to sell it and it would have been too heavy for her anyways.

Yes the K-x is a great little camera. I never had one in my hands before. I really like the pictures that come out of it.

Good point, I will definitely do that.

That's why I bought her a Pentax. Building up brand loyalty early!

In her age I only had a Kodak point and shoot, my father’s. She’s a lucky girl. So nice of you to teach her so right.

Welcome to the forums. A family members k1000 got me hooked at younger age. Great to see a new generation fall in love with photography and Pentax.
