Hello!

I am just starting out in the photography hobby and currently have a pentax me, me super, and program plus. all working and in great condition. As a grade 12 student I am currently saving up for my first DSLR camera and have decided on picking up a k70. This decision mainly came from me wanting to get the most out of my current lenses on a budget, and to compare between it and my friends Sony A6000.

I cannot wait to dive deeper into this hobby with the power of digital as it is too expensive for me to get my film developed every time I want to take photos. I will however be keeping the film cameras as there are just some styles/looks you are just unable to capture on digital.

Welcome! Good choice. There's 60+ years of wonderful K-mount and M42* lenses to discover - all compatible with your film cameras and the K-70.

* use the genuine Pentax M42 to K-mount adapter
