I have owned my camera for a while but never have got around to learning how to shoot in manual mode. I really, really want to learn. Can you anyone point me to video or written tutorials for the Pentax K50 that speak in beginner language?

Since you have a digital camera, one way to apply such a guide and really get a feel for it is to experiment and take test shots (or just watch the result in live view)
