You'll find adapters that go from Pentax 6x7, older Hasselblad lenses, and a few others, which are designed to illuminate large focal plane image circles and have longer back-focus (flange to focal plane) distance. You can't take a short back-focus lens designed to only illuminate a 35mm file frame and get it to go the other way without an adapter with optics. The demand isn't there for this. Plus. most Canon lenses these days also require electronics to drive the aperture, and sometimes the focus motor too. ---------- Post added 02-01-21 at 06:43 AM ---------- BTW I forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS on the 645Z. My Canon gear collects dust because of it.
