How rude of me!

I jumped straight in with a question before I said hello.

So, hello!

Bought my first camera in 1981 which was a Pentax ME Super with the standard 50mm F/1.7. Sold it some years later when I needed the money to eat

Anyway, returned to film last summer, picking up a handful of cameras at auction and have found I really enjoy the medium so I had to get myself another ME Super.

Once again, back to the auctions and I now have two ME Supers and a Spotmatic SPII.

One ME Super came with the standard 50mm F/1,7; the other with a rather interesting Tamron Adaptall 34-70mm F/3.5. The Spotmatic came with the wonderful Takumar Super Multi Coated 50mm F/1.4

For digital I use an Olympus OM D EM1 MkII.

Attached are pictures taken with my ME Super back in 1981 I think (I bought it that year in St Maarten). One with the 50mm and one with a 135 lens I bought (can't remember which). Scanned photos so not great. Wish I could find the negatives.

That's the Curacao bridge if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks,

Hi Ismael and you are quite correct it is indeed the Queen Anne bridge in Curacao. I worked on the Sun Princess so saw this place every week during the winter months.

We sailed out of San Juan which I loved and I was lucky enough to go back there in 2010 to see a small part of it again.

Thanks Kerrowdown. I'm a Lowlander myself; originally from Greenock, then over to Dunfermline before heading south o' the border.

Anything further South than Perth... is considered over the border to some.

There should be a Kerrowdown map of the world so the rest of us can see the borders he subscribes to.

Aye agreed, as a rule... anything off the Kerrowdown Estate or over 100 miles in any direction.

I didn't think any highlander recognised such a thing as a mere border

Sometimes I wonder if I should copy paste a few standard items that are said again and again, then set up a bot to respond.

Imagine having bots set up to respond to common questions and phrases, then having a bunch of bots triggering each other and having long circular bot conversations. The forum could go on for years with no humans involved.

Que "Out of limits."

"In this strange world humans have been extinct for centuries, but computer bots continue typing in never ending conversations about things humans cared about when they were alive."

But, I digress.

Welcome to the forum.

Well you have pretend for the sake of appearances with thy neighbours... but must admit do share tendencies with our Norse brethren, for the odd wee raiding party.
