Introduction hi from Australia

Good morning everyone.
I have joined the Pentax group by purchasing a k-x off FB marketplace. I know it is super old etc, but it came with three lots of lenses and it fitted my meager budget

Anyway, I decided to join the Pentax Forum club and just say many thanks for the invaluable wisdom I have gleaned off here. I was able to download the firmware for the camera and also as it didn’t come with a CD I was able to download the Utility program 4 with the workaround I read about.
I have no doubt that this is my go to place for looking for answers to my multiple questions.

I went through the K-x at one stage. It was pretty novel at the time of release, having live view.

Welcome from sunny Cairns (in the dry season it will be). I have just sold my k-x a few weeks ago which I bought new. It's a cracking camera, you've done well.

Welcome to the forum, Nannabella. You have chosen a good model to start, I have two Kx and they have served me well. recently I wanted a little higher pixel count so added a K70 to my collection. Shoot often and ask any questions here, you will get answers and lots of help.
