Interested in takumar lenses

Hello
I am a french photographer & I am working with old lenses on a Nikon Z7 II with adapters. I recently buy a super takumar 50mm f/1.4 m42 mount (8 elements) & I am impressed with the results I got with.
Entering this forum is for me a way to be in contact with people who knows far more than I the Pentax system. I hope with your help finding other jewels which will help me in my project.
Question: I have a doubt with the pentax A mount and the pentax K mount. What are the differences, or where can I find information?

Some lenses are the same formula through the different series while some are new designs.
After you read the link PJV gave there is more specific stuff here.

On the mobile site this doesn't show but on the full site this is shown on the top of the page under lenses.

Welcome to the forums! I will confess that the Takumars started my affair with collecting, studying, and using Pentax lenses. They're wonderful things.

Welcome to the forums from Mexico.

Great start to a Pentax lens collection. The older glass still has so much to offer, I'm glad to see you are putting it to use.
