67ii problem

Hi, I bought a used 67ii (I know). After a few rolls it has gone wonky: When I close the back the LCD is properly filled, but after winding and shooting once it goes to E20 and won't take any more pictures. If I pop the back open and close it the camera becomes functional again. Until I take the first shot. Obviously repairs are getting hard to come by, so I"m wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and found a remedy. Thanks.

Yikes! I can't help you except to say that sucks and I feel your pain (purchased problem gear before). And it also sounds like the chances of some physical tweak you can make to resolve the issue is slim too. I think finding good, used MF film gear is getting harder.
