I wanted to introduce myself briefly in this thread. I'm from Germany and have been taking pictures in my spare time since 2012. For a long time I was on the road with a Pentax K5 II and see myself as a Pentaxian. I love Pentax the robust design and the good quality of the camera and lenses. Of course, the name "Pentax" also plays a role, since it comes from the Thuringia/Saxony region and reminds me of the long camera tradition of this region. I particularly like to photograph architecture, landscapes and abstract motifs. I try to minimize my images stylistically and orient myself more to painting in terms of image composition and color design.

Thanks for pointing out the challenges. I also nominated pictures for the month of June.

I mainly post pictures on Flickr. Don't be surprised, there are also pictures from a Fujifilm camera. I first had my Pentax K5 II and have now switched to two digital cameras. One for on the go is the Fujifilm X100V and for high quality pictures the Penax K1 II (I just got it this week).
