Hi All:

I was previously a member long time ago when I was in the Pentax format of cameras. I had owned the Pentax K-5 and Pentax K-7. I left the Pentax format due to several reasons(which I won't really get into), after all these years away I really missed my Pentax. Well I got a sign that I should come back when I went to a local estate sale and found a Pentax K-3 with several solid lenses...(18-135mm, Sigma 170-500mm, and several others) for $450 for everything...the shutter count was pretty low...17,500 and everything was in great shape...the gear was well taken care of. For the price I could not say no. I am now back into the Pentax format. I will be saving up for the new Pentax K-3iii. Anyhow...I am happy to be back into the Pentax format. From the time I left till now I have added drone videography to my hobbies. I just bought the DJI Mavic Air 2.

Welcome back. The K-3 is a great camera IMHO, with few gremlins and a great body.

Welcome back into the fold. Great find at a great price. I wish I could find things like that around me, but living in the middle of nowhere makes it difficult, at best.
