Welcome to the forum, the weekly competitions are great for developing compositional eye and giving you scenarios to work around.

Hi Timosaurus,

Thanks for the welcome. I know I will keep coming back to that new shot (even if it takes several minutes to figure it out manually). Not so sure about going back to film even though I still have a pentax ME sir. I have discovered more control digitally. To have that with film I would have to develop it myself. Last time I did that was more decades ago than I care to say ;-) Anyway, my results are like the movie, Good, Bad, and Ugly. The "goods" are getting better. I use my old sir Pentax lenses on a Pentax K-x, and get surprisingly good results for a 12 megapixel camera! Some day I will upgrade. I would love a K1.
