Hello All who may be reading this.
For more than 25 years when I was shooting film I always used Minolta Maxxum 9000 cameras with the drive for each
and really enjoyed those.
2008 I went to Pentax as I had already purchased a Pentax 645 AF, that I still have to this day.
When I went digital I stayed with Pentax and bought two K10d cameras with grips and again have loved them.
Because they only go to ISO 1600 and recently bought a K5 that I really like and am looking to get another one.
I look forward to being an active participant in the Pentax Forum.

Thank you,
Mark

Welcome to Pentax Forums.

Keep an eye on the Marketplace here for a K-1 and/or a second K-5. A K-5IIs might be a better bet, as it has better AF than the original.

Welcome to the forums from the Fenlands of England!

I recently bought a secondhand K-5 myself, and I have to admit that it's still eminently usable despite its age!

Warm welcome from Finland!
My digital journey with Pentax began also 2008 when I bought a K200D. Later I have had several bodies, including two copies of K-5 (one of them still in "spare body use"), which I like and gladly praise very much. And I agree with the idea of having two similar bodies at the same time (thouhg not the case for me just now). Very handy in quickly evolving situatios to have both a tele and a general zoom ready with similar enough settings and ergonomics. How you'll find another K-5 soon in good condition. I believe there should be several available in second hand market nowadays, and rather inexpensive too.

hello and welcome. K-5 is an outstanding body -- I just got a K-5 IIS earlier this year and absolutely love how it handles. The best grip on any K-mount DSLR that I've owned. Have a good day!

Welcome! I hadn't looked at the 645 AF before, it looks like a blast to use.
