Pentax x5 lens cap size in mm

Hi, could anyone tell me what size in mm a replacement lens cap is for the pentax x5 camera, ive just inherited one from my father in law but sadly the lens cap has been lost.

Pentax O-LC129 Lens Cap ( originally supplied with X-5 )

I think it is 52mm but the lens has no filter thread so it could be a bit tricky,
Could possibly work , from China, JJC LC-JJ52

Hey Mark, yes I do.

Hi Mike, welcome to the forums.
A 49mm pinch type cap fits what would be the filter thread on a normal lens, but they are much smaller than the outer diameter of the X-5 housing.
A good pinch type cap, like the one on the 100mm macro WR (which I used to check the size), will work OK to cover the lens.

Edit - Found these cheap knock-offs on Ebay which should do the job.
