Hello from the Pacific Northwest

I have been a part of this forum for some time, yet only posted once many years ago. At the time I had decided to start looking at Canon and Nikon since Pentax was dragging its butt getting a FF out. I am glad I decided to wait. I currently own and enjoy my K1 Mark II. I am still learning everything that a camera can do and the photos are amazing. Luckily I was able to purchase several new lenses at the time too. By backup is my K7.

I enjoy scenery and wildlife primarily. But I daddle in a little of everything.

Welcome! I am planning on getting a full frame Pentax at some point. Kinda waiting to see if they launch a K-1 III with the same technologies that the K-3 III has.

Well, welcome back, and congratulations on getting your K-1ii kit.

Like most modern cameras, the K-1 has many features that are a little obscure to those brought up in the manual tradition, so it is an ongoing source of delight to us. The photos it produces are beautifully satisfying, to my eye.
