Hello Pentax users,
As I had a stuck K30 in the closet for some years, and bought a K-S2 at that time, I was informed by a fellow photographer that the issue should be easily fixable. This brought me to this great forum. And yes, today I fixed the K30 with the aperature issue by changing the Solenoid with a donor part from an old MZ-50. All was done in an hour and a half or so. This due to the fantastic description created by "photogem". And as I intent to spend more time enjoying photography from now onwards, I expect to spend more time on this great forum in the future.
